Alumni

STAYING CONNECTED

Alumni play a critical role in supporting the college and building the future generation. Whether you were a member of the first class or a recent graduate, you can be proud to be associated with North Carolina A&T State University' nationally competitive College of Business and Economics whose graduates span the globe. Our mission is to connect our alumni, students, and friends to the college and with each other. To ensure this happens, we depend upon your engagement in volunteerism and intellectual exchange with other alumni and with current students.

Alumni Mentoring Program

Alumni are encouraged to reconnect by becoming involved in the Closing Bell Program and the Alumni Mentoring program, which creates a lifelong tie between the college and our alumni. The mentoring program also symbolizes our students' transitions from the classroom into their careers in the "suit and tie" professional world. For more information, click here.

Leaders in the Classroom

Alumni can participate in speaking engagements to students and groups through the college's Graduate Speaker Series hosted by the Beta Alpha Psi student organization. Our alumni graduate speaker series provide a popular venue for students to ask questions about life after graduation. Students enjoy listening to alumni give a real-world perspective of what they can do with their major. For more information, contact Dr. Lisa Owens-Jackson at 336-334-7846 or laowensj@ncat.edu or Dr. Cathy Cornelius at 336-334-7846 or daltonc@ncat.edu.

Share Leads and Opportunities

Alumni play a key role in helping our students find internship and career leads. Through participating in our internship leads database or one of our departmental industry events, alumni can promote their businesses while recruiting top NC A&T students. For more information, contact the Assistant Dean of Student Services, Dr. Cathy Cornelius at 336-334-7846 or daltonc@ncat.edu.
