A&T ANNOUNCES CHANCELLOR SEARCH COMMITTEE MEMBERS
GREENSBORO, N.C. (March 13, 2009) – North Carolina Agricultural and
Technical State University Board of Trustees announced today the members of
its Chancellor Search Committee. On Feb. 24, N.C. A&T Chancellor Stanley
F. Battle announced his resignation as chancellor due to family and personal
reasons, effective June 30.
The Search Committee includes members of the board of trustees, faculty, staff,
student body, the alumni and the community. Dr. Franklin E. McCain, chairman
of A&T Board of Trustees, serves as chair of the committee.
Erskine B. Bowles, president of the University of North Carolina System, gave
the committee its charge.
