Type of Candidates/Selection Committee/Way Ahead

Strongly recommend committee to consider a candidate who is:
  • a female
  • from a non-HBCU community
  • from the corporate environment (non-educational environment)
  • And/or a proven leader by sound and thorough background investigations
Chancellor Search Committee should be:
  • skilled to select a qualified Chancellor

For the way ahead, the Board of [Trustees], new Chancellor and top faculty and student leaders should attend a retreat early to accomplish:

  • Making A&T the best University it can be
  • Building a unified Team at all levels and areas within and outside the University
  • Charting the course forward with all on board-being one family
