Clinical Services

The Center for Behavioral Health and Wellness is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Center for Academic Excellence. The Aggies Bounce Back (ABB) program, launched in Spring 2017, is an academic recovery program that has been designed to assist Emerging Scholars at NCAT not meeting satisfactory academic progress. The mission of the program is to help students recover from past academic difficulties, regain good academic standing, and maintain good academic progress after the completion of the program.

At the CBHW, each Aggies Bounce Back student will be assigned to work with a Counselor-in-Training (CIT). This will provide the opportunity for students to discuss their presenting academic concerns in a confidential counseling environment. Topics include, but are not limited to, career/life planning, professional behaviors, and strategies for success. When applicable, students will also be connected to additional services on campus to aid their academic matriculation.
