College of Arts, Humanities, & Social Sciences
The College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences is comprised of departments formerly housed in the College of Arts and Sciences. The new college will develop programming based upon and consistent with employment trends that capitalize on the elements of an arts, humanities and social sciences education as well as enhance the visibility of programs, specifically the Liberal Arts. CAHSS connects the departments of English; history; journalism and mass communication; liberal studies; political science and criminal justice; and visual and performing arts. Graduates of the CAHSS will be workforce ready and prepared for graduate and professional schools.
