Cornelia Bailey, Interim Director

Cornelia BaileyHello! My name is Ms. Bailey. I am the interim director here at the CDL. I have 15 years of experience working with young children and their families. I have an associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Rockingham Community College, and a bachelor of arts degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Birth-Kindergarten from Greensboro College. I hold the N.C. Early Care and Education Professional Certification-Level 11 and the N.C. Administration Credential-Level 3. I believe that we are lifelong learners and we can never learn enough. We must learn about our children and their families to meet their individual needs. We must create an environment that encourages, supports, inspires, changes, and protects the families, children, university students, faculty, and community partners that we serve.  I enjoy reading, working with children and spending time with family.
