University Scholarship Overview
The Office of Student Financial Aid administers a variety of scholarship programs that recognize superior academic achievement, leadership qualities, and potential contribution to the scholarly community of the University. All students are encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for full consideration of all types of financial aid. The priority date for completing the FAFSA (NC A&T school code: 002905) is March 1st of each year. In addition to institutional funding, students may apply for numerous assistance through third party organizations. Some scholarships may require a separate application administered by their individual organization.
University Level Scholarships
The Office of Student Financial Aid offers funds to outstanding students who demonstrate the potential for superior academic performance and show great leadership skills, extracurricular activities and community involvement. As funding becomes available throughout the academic year you will automatically be considered based upon the criteria for that award and therefore an application is not required. Award amounts will vary and please keep in mind that satisfactory academic progress and a completed FAFSA for the current academic year are required.
North Carolina A&T State University has a mission and commitment to aggressively recruit and retain students from all segments of society. You may contact Mrs. Deborah Lewis (email@example.com) for additional information regarding the application process.
