Scholarships for International Students

North Carolina A&T State University offers several scholarships to our students, however financial assistance in the form of grants, loans, or need-based aid is not available to international students. Only students who are U.S. citizens or eligible non-citizens are eligible for federal and state financial aid. While the Office of Student Financial Aid does not offer scholarships specifically designated for international students, students may be considered for departmental awards that are not restricted to U.S. citizenship.

We offer the following suggestions to international students:

  • Research scholarship opportunities from private organizations both within the U.S. and in your home country.  As a suggestion to get started, consider your background, your future or current field of study, and possible career paths.
  • Research the specific department you are interested in majoring in by visiting their departmental website.
  • Graduate students can seek financial assistance from their departments, including Graduate Student Assistantships under the direct control of each department.  For information about graduate fellowships or outside sources of financial assistance, please contact the Graduate Studies Office.

For additional information please visit the website for Office of International Affairs.
