SSFM - Business Administration
Focuses on the knowledge and skills necessary for managerial duties in commercial and corporate areas, as well as independent contracting. Students in the Business Administration program option are required to take 15 hours of courses in Business Administration as part of the 124 credit hours required for graduation. Students must obtain and maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.3 to continue matriculation in the program.
Career opportunities in the Business Administration option include: exercise program director, cardiac rehabilitator, health and fitness club manager, sports team manager, strength and conditioning coach, personal trainer, and group exercise leader.
The SSFM Business Administration program option also prepares students to take nationally recognized certification exams such as those administered by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), the National Academy of Sports and Physical Education (NASPE), and the American Council on Exercise (ACE).
