For those interested in specialized area of study, the Counseling program has several post-baccalaureate certificates available. Currently admitted master's degree seeking students from the Mental Health Counseling - Clinical, Rehabilitation, and School Counseling tracks from North Carolina A & T State University are eligible to apply for these certificate programs. Please note that prerequisites may be required.
Effective February 15, 2015, the Department of Human Development and Services will no longer accept applications for the PM certificates in Marriage and Family Counseling, Rehabilitation Counseling and Behavioral Addictions, Rehabilitation Psychology and Behavioral Medicine, and Vocational Evaluation and Work Adjustment.

In addition, the Counseling program offers one post-master's certificate for practicing counselors. Those individuals currently holding a master's degree in counseling are eligible to apply.
