National Advisory Board
National Advisory Council
As part of its commitment to become a nationally recognized source for the preparation of educational and community leaders, a National Advisory Council (NAC) has been established to help the School of Education achieve this goal. The functions and objectives of the NAC include the following:
To provide advice and counsel to the Dean and faculty on the appropriateness and utility of the mission and direction of the school;
To provide input and advice regarding the preparation of processes, curriculum development and delivery, and long-range planning;
To engage in the development of strategies and initiatives that will result in continued improvement and overall high quality;
To assist in the formulation and execution of programs and practices that will increase local and national awareness of, and support for, the School.
