READING ROOM & ECONOMICS
The School of Business Reading Room, a mini library in Craig hall is opened to students all day. This room offers students a quiet place to sit and read or study. The room has computers and a wide array of business books, periodicals, and journals.
The School has three computer labs, with the latest technology. Two are teaching labs for computer and communications courses, and the other is a very large, open lab where students may work. The open lab has staff who can offer assistance to students.
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY LAB
A state-of-the-art information technology lab offers a wide variety of routine and specialty software products and a intellectually stimulating environment in which students of all majors may work together or individually to complete projects.
HIGH TECHNOLOGY CLASSROOMS
Each classroom is equipped with state-of-the-art computer and projection systems that include video and DVD, as well as Internet access. All of the 13 tiered classrooms offer laptop ports as well as wireless technology.
The Cafe a la Cart offers a place for students to sit and relax, eat or talk quietly. A small cafeteria offers a good selection of healthy snack items.
In addition to the many programs offered by the Office of Career Services and Experiential Learning, there are many opportunities for students to meet and mingle with recruiters who frequently visit the School. These activities put students in touch with those who are recruiting for internships or full-time positions. Students must meet the grade point average set by the organization and be in the major from which they recruiting.
