Biography:

Professor Kisska-Schulze received her LL.M. in Tax from the University of Florida and her J.D. from the University of Wyoming. Prior to entering into academia, she was a practicing lawyer with heavy emphasis in the areas of taxation and business planning.

Recent publications include a 2011 article published in the Atlantic Law Journal entitled: The Legal Complexities of High Risk Industries: Balancing Customer Service, Safety Issues, and Legal Requirements, where Professor Kisska-Schulze won the “Best Paper Award” for the Rocky Mountain Academy of Legal Studies in Business; and a 2010 article published in the Wyoming Law Review entitled: Non-Commercial Aircraft Sales – Planning Strategies to Ensure FAA Compliance and Minimize Taxes.

Professor Kisska-Schulze has presented at numerous conferences, including the Academy of Legal Studies in Business (ALSB), the Rocky Mountain Academy of Legal Studies in Business (RMALSB), and the Wyoming State Bar Annual Meeting. She is the current Chair Person and a proceedings reviewer for the RMALSB. Professor Kisska-Schulze is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia and in Wyoming.
