Student Organizations

The Department of Business Education supports two student organizations to provide professional development and networking opportunities. Both organizations meet regularly throughout the academic year.

AGGIE TOASTMASTERS

Toastmasters is an international organization that empowers people to achieve their full potential. Through member clubs, people throughout the word meet regularly to improve their communication and leadership skills, which foster self-confidence and personal growth. In supportive and nurturing environment, members learn how to deliver professional presentations, make impromptu speeches, and provide constructive feedback. All students at all levels and majors are encouraged to participate. In addition to the executive board (president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer), members serve in leadership positions during weekly meetings, such as the designated Toastmaster, Topics Master, Evaluator, Grammarian, and Time Keeper.
