Dr. Lemuria Carter is the Interim Associate Dean, School of Business and Economics and Associate Professor of Accounting at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. Her research interests include technology adoption, electronic government, cyber security and online trust. She has published in several top-tier journals, including the Journal of the Association for Information Systems, Journal of Strategic Information Systems, Information Systems Journal, Communications of the ACM, and The DATA BASE for Advances in Information Systems. She has served as the e-government track and mini-track chair for the Americas Conference on Information Systems and the Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences. Her research has been funded by the Institute for Homeland Security Solutions and IBM’s Center for the Business of Government.
