Capabilities and instrumentation 

• 4,000 square-foot state-of-the-art greenhouse, with rolling benches, automated shade cloth and computerized environmental controls for horticultural research.

Research 

• Aluminum and acid-tolerant alfalfa. 
• Transformation of guava to enhance cold hardiness, develop protocols for micropropation.
