Agricultural Research

Organized research is conducted in the School of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences by research faculty with joint appointments in the instructional program.  Much of the research activity is sponsored by the United States Department of Agriculture.  It is conducted on the University farm and in on-campus laboratories where investigations include such disciplines as agricultural economics, animal science, plant science, landscape architecture and design, human nutrition, housing, food science, and animal health.

UI Greenmetric Ranks N.C. A&T Top Seven Percent Internationally for Sustainability

For the third consecutive year, North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University is among the top 7 percent of universities in the world for campus sustainability and environment friendly university management, according to Universitas Indonesia’s GreenMetric Ranking of World Universities.

The Blue and Gold Marching Machine to Perform in Mardi Gras Parade

The North Carolina A&T Blue and Gold Marching Machine will spend Tuesday, Feb. 9 performing in the famed Rex Parade and participating in Mardi Gras activities in New Orleans, Louisiana.

AT&T Foundation Donates $250K to Middle College at N.C. A&T

In an effort to continually invest in local education, communications provider, AT&T made a $250,000 contribution to the Middle College at North Carolina A&T State University.
