National program leaders with the National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) in partnership with North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro, N.C., are offering the fourth in a series of one-day national workshops covering the preparation and management of competitively awarded grants.
Registration for the webcast and on-site presentation is free, but advance sign-up is strongly encouraged to aid in planning. Space is limited for those wishing to be part of the on-site audience in Memorial Student Union at the N.C. A&T campus, so please register by Tuesday, Nov. 27. Lunch will be provided.
This year’s National Grantsmanship Workshop will be broader in scope than those offered in previous years. The agenda will feature new speakers, unique perspectives and dialogue (via panel discussions) on the topics of thinking like a peer-review panelist, integrating research, education and Extension, writing impact statements, and forming public-private partnerships and making them work.
On-site and remote attendees alike will be able to ask questions and interact with presenters. Those unable to attend in-person will have the option of viewing the live webcast, or accessing an archived version that will be available on the A&T website for post-workshop viewing.
