Department of Animal Science Facilities

The Animal Science Department occupies portions of B.C. Webb Hall on the main campus.

The first floor houses N.C. A&T’s 13,000 square foot Laboratory Animal Resources Unit, along with classroom, laboratories, and research laboratories equipped with leading-edge scientific instrumentation are on the second floor. Research and instruction are facilitated by bioinformatics and microarrays laboratories.

The department also maintains the 492 acre University Farm, featuring active livestock and horticultural production, making it possible for students and faculty to engage in teaching, engagement, and discovery with the agricultural community.
