B.S. Agriculture and Environmental Systems, concentration in Agribusiness and Food Industry Management
The Agribusiness and Food Industry Management concentration will prepare you for opportunities in management and business for food industries and agricultural and non-agricultural firms.
The curriculum will build your awareness of current, critical issues facing managers of food and agribusiness firms, develop your ability to think strategically about business decisions, enhance your business problem-solving and decision-making skills, and improve your ability to communicate effectively. The degree offers agribusiness and business management courses in the areas of accounting, agribusiness management, agri-finance, economics, quantitative agribusiness analysis, agri-marketing, and transportation and supply chain management in food industries.
Many of our graduates go on for advanced degrees, such as the M.S. in Agricultural and Environmental Systems, with a concentration in Agribusiness and Food Industry Management, thus qualifying them for careers in research, business, legal or management professions.
