Paid Internship Available
The Cooperative Extension Program at North Carolina A&T State University is pleased to announce that we are offering PAID INTERNSHIPS for the summer of 2014!
The internship program is open to full-time rising Juniors, Seniors or Graduate students, with a GPA of at least 2.5 with the following majors: agricultural education, child development, elementary or secondary education, engineering, environmental sciences, foods and nutritional sciences, horticulture, mathematics, nursing, public administration or related areas. Interns will work in one of three specialty areas: Community Nutrition for Youth; General Cooperative Extension; or 4-H STEM for Youth.

Application deadlines are as follows:
- 4-H STEM for Youth—December 13
- Community Nutrition for Youth—December 20
- General Cooperative Extension—December 20
Sixteen students will be selected to work out of County Extension centers across the state. Two additional interns will be selected to work with youth at day and residential camp sites across the state. The internship orientation will held on campus during the week of May 19 and students will begin their assignments starting June 2 through Aug. 1, 2014.
