Graduate School

North Carolina A&T State University is a member of the University of North Carolina system and is located in Greensboro in the state of North Carolina, USA.  The Graduate School at North Carolina A&T State University offers 9 doctoral degree programs (11 concentrations), 29 master's degree programs (46 concentrations), one post-master’s certificate program, and 8 post-baccalaureate certificate programs in collaboration with the following schools and colleges: School of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, College of Arts and Sciences, School of Business and Economics, School of Education, College of Engineering, School of Technology, and the Joint School of Nanoscience and Nanoengineering.  Degrees offered include PhD, MA, MAEd, MAT, MBA, MS, MSA, and MSW.  Currently, six graduate programs including one doctoral program, five master’s programs and one post-baccalaureate certificate program are available online through distance education.  NC A&T also offers a variety of financial assistance options for graduate study.

Professor at N.C. A&T Selected as NABJ Educator of the Year

For 20 years North Carolina A&T State University professor Gail Wiggins has been one of the driving forces and coordinators of the university’s annual National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) Multimedia Short Course.

N.C. A&T Professor Awarded Carnegie African Diaspora Fellowship

Dr. Musibau Shofoluwe, professor of Technology at North Carolina A&T State University, has been awarded a fellowship by the Carnegie African Diaspora Fellowship Program to travel to Nigeria.

President Obama Appoints N.C. A&T Board of Trustee to Key Advisory Board

In a White House release on May 5, President Barack Obama announced his intent to appoint North Carolina A&T State University alumnus and Board of Trustee member, Janice Bryant Howroyd, to serve on the President’s Board of Advisors on Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU).
