At North Carolina A&T the demand for competitive students remains high as we are educating future engineers to meet and solve these challenges. Currently, we offer ten undergraduate engineering programs (Architectural, Bio, Biological, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Computer Science, Electrical, Industrial & Systems, and Mechanical) eight master's degree programs (Bio, Civil, Chemical, Computational Science & Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical, Industrial & Systems, and Mechanical) and five Ph.D. programs (Computational Science & Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical, Industrial & Systems, and Mechanical).
Our students come from very diverse backgrounds and receive a rigorous education at N.C. A&T. In addition to the rigorous academic curriculum, students can also participate in one of our many student organizations.
Along with students, faculty members provide a wealth of experience through teaching and research. Our faculty utilizes effective teaching strategies that challenge students and teach them HOW to think logically. Research areas include: cyber security, energy, material science, transportation systems infrastructure and more.

The Center for Outreach in Alzheimer’s, Aging and Community Health (COAACH) at North Carolina A&T State University in partnership with the African-American Alzheimer’s Disease Research Study will host the seventh annual Caregivers Education Conference on Saturday, Oct. 31.
The School of Education at North Carolina A&T State University has been awarded two grants to enhance efforts to recruit students into teacher education and to prepare them to integrate culturally relevant teaching practices into special education.
