In Memoriam - Alumna Deanna Tinnin

The College of Engineering is remembering Alumna Deanna Tinnin,
(B.S. ISE '04, M.S. ISE '07). Tinnin passed away on January 24, 2014.

Tinnin earned her Bachelor's of Science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering. She was selected to participate in the US Department of State Congress-Bundestag Exchange Program where she studied abroad for one-year after graduation. After earning her Master's of Science in Industrial Systems and Engineering, Tinnin relocated to Houston, Texas and began her career at Shell Oil Company. Tinnin enjoyed giving back and served as a mentor to engineering students in the College. She also served on the Board
of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Houston. Tinnin will be sorely missed by many.
