American Meteorological Society Student Chapter

The purpose of the NC A&T AMS Student Chapter is to:

  • Serve and supply the community of the Triad region with a better awareness of meteorology and weather related phenomena
  • Motivate students to pursue careers in atmospheric and related science
  • Inform the student community of scholarship and career opportunities
  • Provide career development and networking experiences
  • Promote research and collaboration among intuitions and research labs
  • Increase diversity in Science

The A&T student chapter is affiliated with the national AMS organization and is one of many other AMS Student Chapters.
