Our engineering programs are designed to deliver outstanding instruction, prepare students for future challenges as yet unimagined, and create outreach programs that are mutually beneficial for the student and our larger community—on a local, national, and international scale.

The College of Engineering is the leading national producer of African American engineers at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and our faculty is ranked third in the UNC system for research funding. Our alumni are proof that tomorrow’s best engineers and computer scientists begin their work in one of our engineering programs:
