Visiting Students (Home For The Summer)

Visiting Students:

Visiting students, those who are not working toward a degree or certification at NCA&T State University, apply for summer admission by completing the Application, Course Request Form, and the *Visiting Student Form ( *ONLY if you require approval from your home institution), along with a $45 application fee. Students may pay the $45 application fee online or by mail. To pay online, click PAY ONLINE. (Please note: Before submitting an online $45 payment, you will be instructed to create an account). Students who have earned a bachelor or graduate degree should contact the Graduate School for more information at 336-285-2366 or email at grad@ncat.edu..

Visiting students may enroll during the Summer without being formally admitted to the University. For additional information, contact Extended Learning - Summer School at (336) 334-7810 or osso@ncat.edu.

Registration confirmation will be mailed as soon as applications are processed.

Home for the Summer:

The Home for the Summer program waives the $45 application fee of students who return home for the summer and register for summer classes at NCA&T State University.

Students are eligible if:

  • Returning home to permanent residence in Guilford County for the summer.
  • Enrolled in a university outside of Guilford County during spring semester of current year.
  • To apply, complete the Application along with the Home for the Summer Waiver section, and the Course Request Form and submit to the Office of Extended Learning-Summer School.
