Summer-Sessions for High School Students (Non-residential)

Get a head start on your career.  Attend North Carolina A&T State University Second Summer Session and:

 Earn up to 7 hours of college credit

 Preview college courses and expectations

 Learn to navigate the campus

 Enjoy smaller classes

 Make new friends

Get off to a running start for college by taking summer courses at N.C. A&T!


  • Completion of sophomore year
  • Two written recommendation letters on school letterhead from high school core teachers (Math, English, Science or Social Studies)
  • Recommendation letter from school counselor for consideration of enrollment as a non-degree seeking student
  • Currently enrolled in a high school and in good academic standing
  • Student cannot have obtained a high school diploma prior to the start of the term for which he or she is seeking concurrent status 
  • Immunization documents maybe required for on campus classes.  Click here for more information.


A student may select two courses from:

  •  English
  •  Foreign Language
  •  Mathematics
  •  Science
  •  and more!
