The purpose of the Office of Institutional Planning, Assessment and Research (IPAR) is to support the overall mission of North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University by enhancing institutional effectiveness. To that purpose, IPAR is committed to providing information and analysis which supports and strengthens policy and decision-making, assessment and institutional planning processes and university program improvement.
In order to provide that support, IPAR is responsible for collecting and disseminate data that is accurate, timely and in an understandable manner as well as provide analysis and policy research to the university community for operational management and planning. IPAR is dedicated to providing the services to campus community including administrators, faculty, and students as well as to individuals, organizations, and agencies external to the university.
