Lateral Entry Program
: The lateral entry option allows eligible students to contract
into the Advanced Course at the time they are academic
juniors, seniors or graduate students with four semesters of
coursework remaining before graduation.
Criteria for the lateral entry program eligibility are as follows:

Qualified prior service in the military
OR
-
Member of National Guard or Reserve with basic training completed
OR
-
Completion of three or more years of Junior ROTC in high school
with PMS approval
OR
-
Graduate of Army ROTC Leadership Training Course (formerly Basic
Camp) AND
54 credits (at least 60 preferred) of college coursework
completed towards a bachelor's degree or a graduate student
with a B.A. or B.S.
Once contracted lateral entry students receive a monthly
stipend at the current rates. Contact the enrollment officer
