Many students have the perception that graduate students are
not eligible for the Army ROTC program. This is simply
false--students who are college seniors going on to graduate
school and current graduate students are eligible to join
the program. Students in this category must be able to
complete the Advanced Course (last two years of the
program), which requires four concurrent semesters as a full
time student (full-time is a minimum 12 credits). If a
student has no prior military training (active duty,
National Guard or Reserve, JROTC, or ROTC Basic Course),
then they are required to attend the Leadership Training
Course (LTC) the summer prior to enrolling in ROTC. The same
commissioning requirements pertain to all students in the
program, to include the Professional Military Education
requirements shown in the
Course Curriculum
section of this site. |
