policy institutes conduct research on economic and social policy issues to inform voters
and influence public policy. Many of the insitutes have a particular political
viewpoint, while others maintain a nonpartisan approach. A broad sample of

The Centre for Economic Policy
Research (CEPR) is a European economics
research network of over 500 Research Fellows and Affiliates. Research is
generally policy-oriented and ranges from global
financial crises to international trade policy, from the economic transformation of
Central and Eastern Europe to European competition policy. CEPR's site includes publications such as
the Bulletin and the bi-monthly European Economic Perspectives as
well as Discussion Papers.
