Applicants for the Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program must:
- Be a citizen or national of the United States
- Be a permanent resident of the trust territory of the Pacific Island
- Be a permanent resident of the United States
- Be at least a sophomore-level student enrolled at NC A&T State University
- Have earned an overall GPA of 3.00 or higher
- Be a first generation college student (neither parent has received a four year bachelor's degree from a college or university) and low income, as determined by the U.S. Department of Education criteria, or a member of an under-represented group in graduate education for doctoral study.
