The Office of Evening and Weekend Programs advocates for evening scheduling as an alterntive to day programs. You may have experienced a career change, wish to resume college work after an interruption in studies, or are interested in personal and educational development. If you work full-time, have family responsibilities, or for other reasons cannot attend college during the day, you may still pursue a baccalaureate or masters degree by taking courses in the evenings or on the weekend. Courses are offered year round and during the summer.

The following undergraduate degrees can be earned by attending the University in the evenings:

• Technology Education (B.S.), with a concentration in Industrial Training and Development and options in Printing and Publishing Industries, Computer Aided Drafting and Design Industries, and Electronic Industries.

• Elementary Education - K-12 (B.S.)

• Manufacturing Systems (B.S.)

• Liberal Studies (B.A.) with a concentration in Interdisciplinary Studies only

While the following B.S. degree programs are not evening programs, many of the courses are currently scheduled in the evening:

• Marketing (B.S.)

• Child Development (B.S.)

• Construction Management (B.S.)

• Nursing (B.S.)

• Sociology (B.A.)

Evening degree programs are of the same quality, demand the same rigor, and utilize the same instructors as sections offered during the day.

Several graduate degree programs are also offered during evening hours:

• Mechanical Engineering  (M.S.)

• Adult Education (M.S.)

• Computer Science (M.S.)

Students may apply for financial assistance through the University's Office of Student financial aid. North Carolina A&T State University is committed to meeting the needs of all its students in an affordable, convenient and friendly environment.
