State of the University Presentation
National Alumni Association's First Webcast
The North Carolina A&T State University National Alumni Association sponsored N.C. A&T's first chancellor webcast on March 17 where Aggies from across the country participated. Broadcasting live from the Ernest & Thelma Montague Mack Teleconference Center in the Arts & Sciences New Classroom Building, Aggies heard a "State of the University" presentation by Chancellor Lloyd V. Hackley.

This special alumni information session, REAL TRUTHS: The State of North Carolina A&T State University, was broadcast via the Internet for alumni leaders and Aggies to explore the facts, discover the plan of action, and become part of the solution!
Following the webcast, Chancellor Hackley fielded questions and comments from the live audience and via the Internet and emails.

His presentation ended with a summary of the following:
Activities Underway
-Ethics and Leadership Awareness
-Train-the-Trainers (After Awareness)
-Code of Ethics Development
-Searches for New Leadership Team Members (Chancellor-elect Stanley Battle will make the final choices for all these positions!)
-Studies Underway - Short Term Plan
-Transition Team
-Plan Implementation - Spring Semester
-Consultant to New Leadership Team After July 1

The chancellor originally made this presentation for the executive board of the National Alumni Association, which suggested the presentation be made available during the MEAC Tournament and the webcast. Aggies are encouraged to communicate directly with the chancellor via the new chancellor hotline and email.

If you have questions, comments or suggestions, please email Chancellor Lloyd V. Hackley at askthechancellor@ncat.edu
or call the toll free "Ask The Chancellor" line at 1.866.518.6792.

The first chancellor webcast was coordinated by the N.C. A&T Alumni Association by Teresa Davis and Deloris Chisley in cooperation with A&T's Division of Information Technology and Telecommunications, the College of Arts & Sciences, the Chancellor's Office, and the Division of Development & University Relations.

Those needing additional information regarding the March 17 webcast may email the National Alumni Association president, Teresa Davis at tdavis107@carolina.rr.com
