Kanipes
Receives $210,000 Research Award
Dr. Margaret
I. Kanipes, an associate professor in the department of
chemistry was awarded a National Institutes of Health
Academic Research Enhancement Award (AREA) in the amount
of $210,000. The project involves the examination of Campylobacter
coli, an important emerging human pathogen that is currently
understudied.

Greensboro Urban Ministry. Thanks to
all who contributed. Urban Ministry was delighted with
the contribution to their food bank which will help
our local citizens.
The North Carolina A&T State University
Child Development Laboratory is having a Scholastic
Book Fair, through October 6. The Book
Fair will be located at the Laboratory in Price Hall
