Food Pantry
Many of you have heard about the severe shortage
in the Urban Ministry's Food Bank. As a university
family, we can help to alleviate this problem. We
cannot stand by and let this happen so, Urban Ministry
has supplied boxes for us to fill with non-perishable
foods to help restock their food pantry. The need
in this community is so great as the Urban Ministry
uses 50,000 pounds per week to feed the citizens
in this community. We have boxes in all the buildings
on campus. Please consider giving to this worthy
cause.
When you shop, please select one or more canned
and non-perishable food items such as:
Protein Sources:
Tuna, Salmon, etc. Beef Stew, Spam, Corned Beef,
Peanut Butter, 18 oz.
Vegetables:
Greens, e.g. Turnip, Mixed Vegetables, Peas (green),
Tomatoes, Corn, Green Beans
Fruit Juices
Soups
Sugar, 2 lbs.
Dry Milk
Oatmeal, 18 oz.
Macaroni & Cheese
Bags of dry beans
Fruits:
Peaches, Pears, Fruit Cocktail, Applesauce
Dietary Supplements: e.g., Ensure
Rice, 1 lb. or large bags
Please, NO GLASS containers. Thank You!
