Computer Aided Drafting and Design

Write to Dr. Kapur

GCSTS students with a major in Graphic Communication Systems and a concentration in Computer Aided Drafting and Design graduate with a B.S. in Graphic Communication Systems.

Former CADD Instructor, Harold McClean, with the Architectural Design and Modeling students.

Additional University core and Department courses may be required. For a complete account of the curriculum guide and policies, consult the NCA&TSU Undergraduate Bulletin. The Computer Aided Drafting and Design concentration provides students with opportunities to learn several computer graphics applications ranging from AutoCAD to SilverScreen. Students become masters of CAD and learn how to create 3D techncial animation. This concentration prepares the computer graphics professional for careers in many fields including:
-industrial design
-architectural drafting
-vocational education
-document management
and many others.
